A couple of new letterpress prints

Voilà, a couple of new limited-edition letterpress prints, hot off of the Heidelberg Windmill! Both were typeset by hand and printed with antique wood and metal type, and both are for sale in my Etsy shop. You can get 15% off your order by using coupon code STEPAHEAD when you check out.
The Talk Is Cheap—Type Is Not, Kern Wisely print refers to the act of “kerning”—carving away bits of metal or wood type to allow to letters to fit together more tightly, replaced in the digital era with keystrokes and drop-down menus. It was printed with three different fonts: a 10-line Condensed Gothic, a slightly smaller wood type script, and 24-point Ludlow Record Gothic Condensed. The wood type script is set on a slanted body, which makes it a little more difficult to work with, but I hand-cut some slanted furniture to assist in the lockup.
The Never Get Bored print combines a bold wood type Gothic with a mid-century Swiss-style sans, along with a hand-cut star border, all overprinted in teal on top of an orange halftone cut of a couple walking along a tropical beach.
Real nice work, I wish I had printing press. Great stuff.
Thanks so much!
